Govt. PC College is a renowned college in South Bengal which is located at Harinkhana in Bagerhat district of Khulna Division. It is a national university-oriented college intermediate affiliated college. Its founder is Prafulla Chandra Roy, a prominent scientist and philosopher. The college was founded in 1918 and nationalized in 1979. It is built on 20 acres (8.1 hectares) of land. It currently has around 8,000 students and 90 teachers. It is very advanced in terms of quality of education.
