The most beautiful place I have ever seen
A good place. U can have open air in this college which is rare in dhaka. There is a big playground In this college. It also has a tiny basketball court with a mini stadium. It's academic is also good. There are several hospital around it..
It is one of the oldest govt.college on physical education. But the bigger attraction for the residents of Lalmatia or Mohammadpur is the huge playing field it has. The whole area is 7.9 acre. The biggest fallacy is, the whole field is restricted and no general publics are allowed to enter. I happened to visit it when it wasn't that much restricted. It has a swimming pool, a basket ball ground, tennis court, volleyball badminton court and large central open field for cricket, football, handball and parades. The tennis court is quite new and so it has not been trashed much, although the younger generations are trying to make it a street football ground. The basketball court is quite neglected, basketball rings are rusted and boards are breaking down. The gallery is cracking too. I don't see much of the basketball players either. Swimming pool is not clean either. And the water is cleaned only when there's a tournament. In fact I haven't seen the water getting cleaned in last 2 or 3 years. It is rarely been used. There are indoor gaming facilities and gyms. I have never been inside so I don't know much about those. The main playing field is really clean and mowed regularly. It is occasionally rented by school, colleges and universities of Dhaka. And of course, the students of the physical college are allowed to utilise all the facilities of it.
It's important our health grow up our body perfectly
Government college of Physical Education is an institute where student can get BPEd degree. A big Field inside the college.
