It is one of the oldest sweet-maker of the city. Originally it was at Charar Gop area, and relocated to the present location in early ‘90s. Their ‘Rasogolla’ was very famous. But their breakfast is more famous even than their rasogolla. Taste and quality of their parata (fried, small flat bread), bhaji (half melted fried vegetables) and halwa (dense sweet confection made of semolina) in breakfast are unique. Especially their bhaji is the signature cuisine of the city. Other sweetmeats like various Sondesh and Jilapee are also very tasty. The place is a bit dirty, maintains low hygiene. Service is lousy and slow.
