This is a wholesale market for various kinds of fruits (Apple, orange, Banana, grape, Pomegranate and all seasonal fruits). Both local and Imported fruits are available here. Good facilities are available here for preservation of food like cold storage. From here lots of fruits are going to various corner of the country everyday. Price is very cheap here. Generally from the morning up to 1200 hrs this market remain very busy. Lots of vehicles (trucks) get inside the market during this time. Therefore crowd is heights during this time. The entrance route beside the bridge is a bit narrow which makes the traffic jam most. For buying good amount of fruits at a time this market is a very good option.

This location are very nice place beside the "BURIGANGA" River & a historical place "AHSAN MANJIL" . any one can buy the fruits from here in wholesale price but this must be their regular quantity not 1-2 pcs.I visit here early morning at 6.00 AM. Very nice feelings here.
