Very calm and organised and well decorated place it is. Also there are well organised museum and library. Those who are interested in history of Bangladesh and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, will find all at once in this place.

The mausoleum of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is located adjacent to the old home of Bangabandhu and his ancestors. The tomb is very nicely designed and it is of great architectural value too. The whole complex also comprises of a museum and a library. The whole place is lush green, tastefully decorated and very peaceful. The roads to and from Gopalganj are in great condition so it's easily accessible. There are 3 gates in different directions. If you're ever in Gopalganj or in an adjacent district, please pay a visit to this place in memory of the greatest bengali ever born (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman).

It was an amazing experience there. This place is historically significant. And it really brings up the patriotism in you. I highly suggest vising this place if you have the chance. Just call ahead to know if any VIP is vising there or not, because then the place will be on high security and you might not get an access.
