My Lenovo G40-80m laptop looked like King Kong sat on it. All the insides were exposed and wires were hanging out. It finally stopped charging. It was embarrassing because I don't look like a woman who would have a laptop that looked so busted. Normally I would get a new one but in this case, I had to keep it. It was essentially re-built.
