Good atmosphere lots of open space in the shop sitting arrangements are good as well. This shop is bringing sweets from all over the country and it's one of a kind so far. Very reasonably priced with excellent customer service with friendly staff.
Excellent collection but a bit expensive than others. They also provide quality product. So you can trust them for sure. Loved the place and wished to go there sometime soon. :)
Banglar Mishti (Sweets of Bengal) launched its third outlet in Uttara in April, 2019. Traditional Bangladeshi/Bengali sweets are a signature and essential part of any traditional meal of Bangladesh, through history. Bengal was always known for being the land of sweet lovers. The creativity in sweet making and its artistic presentation was something that made our sweets unique. Any occasion, or any cause for celebration or commemoration for Bangladeshis is always coupled with the distribution and consumption of the traditional sweets; and to us, sweets symbolize a whole range of emotions. Banglar Mishti had opened its first outlet in December 2017 in Gulshan 1 and the second outlet in Banani in May of 2018. Within a short period of time, the outlets gained popularity and acclaim amongst sweet lovers. With a view to introduce the sweets of the different districts of Bangladesh and ones which are not easily found, to a wider clientele in Dhaka, Banglar Mishti opened its third outlet at 95, Gausul Azam Avenue, Uttara, Dhaka. The constant encouragement and cooperation of our customers have given us the courage to expand. We believe that the continued support will help us to grow even more.” said Zeenat Chowdhury, the Managing Director of Sweets of Bengal Ltd.
Good new idea of experiencing native confections! In fact local sweets (মিষ্টি) are their concentration. The interesting and ingenious idea of the food store is the display of Bangladeshi Sweets (দেশি মিষ্টি) in the middle of the restaurant. You can enjoy the variety of Bangladeshi Sweets displayed there before you place an order. Besides sweets, they also offer Coffee, Tea and Fast Food also. Again they offer you pretty interesting game to be played if you are willing; that is matching of dots and circles. I liked the idea of the food store overall.
Misti valo I love that shop
Nice interior, huge collection of sweets
Absolutely Bengal Heritage! This is one of a kind sweet shop, a theme that has been introduced in Bangladesh only by sweets of bengal. Behind every sweet there is history and heritage which we millenials did not know and bengal has helped us bring it to mass people. The place has beautiful decor and spacious seating space with pish interior concept. It also offers coffee which goes hand in hand with sweets (something we were unaware of again thanks to bengal for introducing it). Overall a must visit place. Parking can be an issue so I suggest do not take self driven cars if you want to avoid getting a bangladeshi taka tweleve hundred 1200 ticket by a beautiful sergeant. It can be as high as bangladeshi taka twenty five hundred 2500 if a yellow sergeant comes in and you have to pay for the wrecker.
