In terms of scenic beauty and serving refreshment purpose this place is quite up to the mark. The huge river and the bank makes a good environment for refreshment. But to invest that much of money to build the windmill for only 1.5 megawatts power is ridiculous. On my perspective it's nothing but a waste of money.

Crossbar-3, Bangladesh Water Development Board, Sirajganj. It is a dame to protect the city. During the monsoon season, the turbulent flow of the river Jamuna goes above the danger level. A crossbar 1-2-3-4 and a triangular 'Hard Point' have been constructed on the banks of the Jamuna in 'BWDB' town to keep Sirajganj Sadar Upazila afloat from floods and river erosion caused by heavy rains and downpours. The spreaded area of sands and the standing turbines of the Jamuna, along with the piles of blocks will give a different kind of peace to the 'afternoon' of the travellers.
