This student dormitory (hall) was named by the name of first VC (Sir P.J. Hartog) of DU, Sir P.J. Hartog International Hall. All the international students who have been studying here in University of Dhaka stay in this hall. Besides the international students Bangladeshi students also stay here. Some of the bachelor teachers of DU can stay here for payment of staying and foods. Besides other facilities there are a central dining room, grocery & stationary store, a laundry, a salon etc. are available for the residences of this hall. This hall situated behind the Fine Arts Facility & MBA Building. There is a pleasant environment for staying as well as studying.

Sir P. J. Hartog International Hall is a residential hall accommodating foreign students of the University of Dhaka. It is a good accommodation at a real low price. There is a canteen, a saloon, a laundry and a convenience store inside. Front view is excellent. It was built few decades ago, life is vibrant here. Students can live with their spouse.

It is my current residence and the place is calm with enough greenery, which is rare in a city like Dhaka. Also, the hall is at the heart of the university campus. What else can I ask for?
