It is the main Govt hospital in Shibpur Upazila. It has good facilities for a upazila health complex including emergency facilities 24 hours. It has 2 operation theater 50 cabins for patients also several common wards. It also has ambulance service. The area in well decorated & aesthetically pleasing including housing for the doctors & staffs, a mosque & a playing field. It is a very necessary part of the locality & the whole upazila. It contributes not only patient care, but also other awareness and prevention programs.
