Santaher food storage( Silo). It's a big food reserve station at Bangladesh, it's one of the big station in Asia. It's reserve wheat and rice. There is a big Chembur to reserve this kind of food grains. This station also makes a big quantity of electricity which is add in national grid everyday. They makes this electricity with solar panel. Many panel are set on the rooftop of this silo. The Department of Food has constructed the air-conditioned warehouse at a cost of over Tk 232 crore with financial and technical support from Japan. It will preserve food grains with the use of solar power throughout the year.Tgere is 100 panel installed on this silo rooftop each panel makes 360 KW electricity everyday. The Silo capacity to reserve food grains is mass 25000 tonne.
