One of the developing industrial cum commercial are in the country. After completion of Padma Bridge this area will be highly developed. Mongla Economic Zone has total land area of 205 acres. Located near Mongla seaport and Mongla Export Processing Zone in Bagerhat district. Sikder Group is responsible for development and management of this Economic zone. Roads, bridges, water supply lines, power sub-stations and administrative buildings has been completed already. The place is really nice.
