This is great institute i think. SOS Children's Villages is the world’s largest non-governmental organisation focused on supporting children without parental care and families at risk. Since 1949, we have been working to ensure that children grow up in a loving family environment and have their rights fulfilled. SOS Children's Villages associations worldwide are helping hundreds of thousands of children, young people and families providing quality care, empowering families and communities and helping to ensure that children's rights are met.

This is an organization especially for orphaned and abandoned children who have no one caring for. Orphaned/abandoned children get a chance to grow up in a loving home under the care of an SOS Mother. Very good organization in Bangladesh!

SOS Children's Village Dhaka is situated on a main road leading out of the city to the north. They work closely with the local population, adapting their activities to their needs. In order to support families in the neighbourhood, we offer day-care facilities for young children whose mothers have to go to work, as well as primary and secondary education, vocational training programmes and loving homes to children and young people who have lost parental care. After the devastating storms and floods of 1991, a cyclone shelter was built in the city, which is also used as a meeting place for the local population.
