I have tried many spas abroad but never in Bangladesh before. My experience here is fairly good. Their spas are good, environment is soothing with those nice relaxing background music and small detail decorations. Staffs are cordial enough. But I think the facial treatments are more like face massage than facial. I was little disappointed for it. Price range might seem high but I think it’s reasonable based on their location, type and duration of services. My overall experience was good. Hope to come here again.

This is my first time i have massage at samran spa. I have been tried so many massage place/ spa before. I really disappointed with their treatment. I had couple massage which doing for two persons in one room. My therapist name is sumi and kabita (if I'm not mistaken with spelling). Along the treatment they talked very loud. They didn’t let the guest to rest. Especially my therapist, sumi, she treated me very rough. She did not do the gentle massage. There wasn’t communication “excuse mam, I’m sorry mam etc” which for me is important to show how they polite and respect to guest. She just pulled out the towel under my head and my head hit the bed so hard. And her massage is like massaging wood not to human. “Very ROUGH!”. I had a shoulder pain back from there. With that price also, i suggest to them to make better place, more clean and maybe u can give the guest some refreshment like ginger tea. The price is not so worth with their service. I complained directly to the one who handle in front office but his response indifferent. This review i hope can make them give better service for their customer.
I am writing this review as I am receiving my service. This is my first ever review and I felt I needed to write one because this place has potential but is letting itself down. The staff are hospitable enough however lacking in their management and skill. I made an appointment beforehand and when I arrived there were hardly any customers. The waxing process took entirely too long as the waxing lady had not been notified beforehand about there being a customer therefore she having to prep the materials which she didn't. On top of that, I had to teach the waxing lady how to wax properly as the way she was waxing was pulling off layers of skin and I had started to bleed.
I have not been to many Spa's in Dhaka however, if the rest are the same as this one when it comes to relaxing massages they all must match Samran Spa. One of the most relaxing stress free spas that I have been to which was one of the only ones that helped with back pain and foot pain. Will be going back on a regular bases. Staff was very professional. One of the only issues that I had was the website appointment schedule does not seem to be in sync with the front desk since I have made a couple of appointments on the website however, when I arrived at the spa they had no idea about my appointment. Also, if someone was to go for a stress free relaxing massage the environment is a bit noisy. You should put soothing music speakers in every booth. It is better just to call or text the spa directly which seems to work very well.
I’ve been here twice and each time it’s been good. Their spa packages are fairly priced I think for them being 2 1/2 hours long. The place is clean and staff is professional. Service is good and the massages are great.

A nice spa for massages with ladies from Thailand and Bangladesh. Having lived in Bangkok for 4 years, I have had many massages before due to neck and back pain. The ladies at Samran are well-trained and the environment is nice, although it is not quite up to the same standards as you will find in 'legitimate' massage spas in Bangkok. Therefore, I give it 4 stars.
