The teachers here are very hardworking and are also renowned for carrying their fame and dignity in the cultural world of our country. Bulbul Academy for Fine Arts (BAFA) is an institution of fine arts established in Dhaka on 17 May 1955, founded by Begum Afroza BulBul, wife of the late Bulbul Chowdhury, under the financial support of the government. Rashid Ahmed Chowdhury (1 January 1919 – 17 May 1954), known by his stage name Bulbul Chowdhury, was a Bengali dancer of British India, and later East Pakistan. He is primarily regarded as a pioneer of modern dance in Bangladesh, as a founding figure of dance among the conservative Muslim community.
It is a very famous fine arts institute in Dhaka. You can do courses on music and paintings from here. This institute has produced lot prominent artists with the passing of time. It was established many years ago and from then it is serving its purpose properly.
The Bulbul Lalitla Academy was established in 1955, the birthplace of the country's cultural heritage. In memory of Chiranjeev dancer Bulbul Chowdhury and to fulfill his dream, the organization started its journey in his name.

Students with less than 70% attendance will not be able to sit for the two examinations. While attending any course at the academy students must take permission to attend radio, TV or any other programs from the academy authority. Riyed Hasan Shawon, rising singing talent of Bangladesh, learned Nazrul Sangeet and classical singing here in the Dhanmondi, Dhaka, branch under the well-known Nazrul Geeti singers Rafiqul Islam, Yeakub Ali Khan and Salauddin Ahmed and classical singing under Mongol Chandra Pandit.

My emotional anchor as I got certificate from BAFA, main branch, wiseghat in Hawaiian Guitar. Once upon a time it was one of the best Fine Arts Institutes though now a days it has been struggling. BulBul Academy of Fin Arts(BAFA) is an institution of fine arts established in Dhaka on 17 May 1955, was founded by Begum Afroza BulBul wife of Late BulBul Chowdhury under the financial support of the government. BAFA established to save our heritage culture from increasing bad effect of alien culture and taking a promise to build up the new generation in a circle of main theme of culture with our eternal tradition. Students are being taught with special care to all the subjects, hence, Dance, Singing, Art and other Musical Instruments: such as, Guitar, Violin, Keyboard and Tabla. The teachers here are very hard working and are also renowned carrying their fame and dignity in the cultural world of our country. Each class continues varies of forms of dance, and singing.The people involved in this institution are well reputed and established in cultural community of Bangladesh. To provide and spread the proper cultural education to the future generation of the country and to furnish the original cultural theme to intentional forums is the main goal of this institute.
It has got a nice natural and typical village like environment but the surrounding is dusty and dirty. It's also located at the bank's of world's most polluted river. But it is a great institution for the cultural activities.
