Welcome to Bangladesh Society of Critical Care Medicine (BSCCM) Bangladesh Society of Critical Care Medicine (BSCCM) is a non profit, non-political association of Bangladeshi doctors, nurses & other allied healthcare professionals involved in care of the critically ill patients. It was established on December 5, 2009 by a group of renowned Intensivists of Bangladesh led by Prof. Mohammad Omar Faruq, the founding President of BSCCM. Its secretariat is located at Department of Critical Care Medicine of BIRDEM General Hospital (6th floor), Shahbag, Dhaka. BSCCM is committed to the promotion & advancement of education, research, & professional development of Critical Care Medicine. The main objective of BSCCM is to unite the Critical Care Medicine Specialists/Intensivists into one body for advancement of scientific knowledge in critical care medicine & to popularize modern critical care in our country
