This is one of the biggest wholesale fish market in Dhaka and even in bangladesh. Fishes from all over the country are bring here to sell in dhaka city. Fish price are cheap but you need to purchase a minimum quanity according to the seller. In case of the area, its very very dirty. Sometimes you have to walk in the water which almost cover your knee. so if you ever planning to visit there try to wear gum boot or sandle. Never wear keds or shoes.

It's a bazar not any developments corporation or anything. This place is a mess. Not organized, untidy, unhealthy also sometimes they will sell you "preservative" added fish. But fisheries are sold at cheaper rate.
