The embryo of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was formed on 28 September 1971 during the war of Liberation with only three aircraft. During last 43 years Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has been developed as one of the advanced and capable air force of the world. BAF now operates hi-tech fourth generation multirole air superiority fighter, supersonic air defense interceptor, fighter Ground attack aircraft, long range fixed wing transport aircraft, different type of utility helicopters and training aircrafts.
