Its a Upazila level branch of ASA. ASA is one of the leading microfinance institutions of Bangladesh. It has many branches in Bangladesh. it has been implementing a number of non-financial programs featuring Education, Healthcare, Sanitation, Hygiene and Agriculture support services. ASA plays an important role in the elimination of poverty of Bangladesh. From this ASA branch micro loans are provided to poor people of Gouripur Upazila. This office works for the development of poor people of Gouripur Upazila. This office provide micro loans at comfortable interest. Many small traders of Gouripur Upazila depends on this micro loan for their development of businesses . They pay a small interest for this type of micro loan. ASA also work for the financial development of the poor women of villages of Gouripur Upazila. There have also many non-profit public welfare activities.
