Very important power hub for power system of Bangladesh. It has 230 kV , 132kV and 33 kV voltage level facilities. Main source of this substation is Aminbazar 230kV substation. It is supplying power to Satmosjid and Bhasantek/Cantonment 132 kV substation as well as 33 kV distribution network ie DESCO network. This substation has 2 giant 300 MVA transformer and two 120 MVA transformer. Later one is supplying power to the DESCO network as well as the station supply.
