A nice location to visit in Kurigram; it is basically an infrastructure to protect Kurigram town from the erosion of Dharla river.

The structure was constructed by BWDB to Protect Kurigram town from the erosion of Dharla river. Later on the groyne was beautified. Now apart from protective structure, the structure site also serves as visiting place for city residents.
