This place just a meeting point of two roads, nothing more. I don't know any historical events around this place. If you visit here you will find a few road side shop selling cigarettes..who marked this place as a historical place? There is a Banyan tree (Ficus bengalensis) many years old (I don't know it's actual age) . Have a look at the attached pictures.

Nothing special about this place, just a entrance of Kishoreganj. There was a big banyan tree, this place was named after this tree. Now you will find few tea stall and shop here.
