This is City PWD Division, a field unit office of Public Works Department. This office was established before the Liberation of Bangladesh. All public infrastructures of Dhaka, Bangladesh used to be constructed/maintained from this office. Now there are many offices of Public Works Department inside Dhaka City. Still it is one of the most important one. This office is implementing many government construction projects and also maintaining many important government structures and establishments including Ramna Park and Suhrawardy Udyan.
