Each and every day people gather here to express their opinions, expectations, demands for various issues. National Press Club of Bangladesh is situated at the heart of the city in a prime land. It has large premises with adequate parking facility. The Press Club building initiated its journey in the 1980s. There are canteen, meeting room, library, lounge etc. There is a large auditorium, though not developed, which is attached to the main building. Some of the facilities are avilable to the public on the basis of rent.

There are separate press clubs in almost every district and important area. The structure and aims and objectives of these self-regulated institutions are unique.
