Leaping Boundaries is a registered charitable trust aims to give female madrasah students the exposure on national platforms and encourage the youth to become future leaders of Bangladesh. The organization provides these students with a comprehensive set of skills and access to platforms to help integrate them into the mainstream society. In order to effectively represent themselves in these platforms the students undergo a combination of training programs which will build their knowledge and confidence. The students are trained to help them gain proficiency in communicative English, skills in Information, Communication and Technology and Soft Skills make them more employable in the long run. The students are also provided with psychosocial support and academic counseling. Madrasah students are traditionally underrepresented in mainstream society. Youth from this background face an identity crisis and need to be integrated into society. They can be an active part of society, embodying positive values that are compatible with national and international values, and act as agents of change in the 21st Century. তার Taar - Connecting Stories is the sustainability initiative of this organization. The product line aims to make the stories of the girls we work with known to a wider audience. The product design reflects upon their works, their words, their art to bring to the buyers/audience narratives from the lives of these girls about whom we know very little. In the process, we believe we can break stereotypes surrounding madrasah girls and increase their representation and spread their stories, told by them, in mainstream society.
