In order to protect the memories of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, it was established in February 1985 in Dhanmondi poet building in Dhaka. This is a research Institute. Many rare materials related to Nazrul's life and literature has been collected under the supervision of this Institute. Among them, the poet's rare photographs, poetry manuscripts, embryonic gramophone records, valuable research materials are notable. As a result, the opportunity to research about the life and creativity of Nazrul has been created.
