The consular section is friendly and helpful. Neat and clean environment. Inside there is a waiting room for the visa applicant and for the visitors. This embassy is one of the biggest embassy in Dhaka. For visa processing they took long time specially for the tourist visas. But for some special cases it’s process application fastest way. Visa application payment system is old. Once they accept your application you have to go to a nearest bank to pay the visa fee (pay order)

Visited the Embassy long back to discuss & offer UK manufactured Land Rover 4x4 automobiles for the Embassy with the then Second Secretary. He treated my with one of the best black coffee that I had in Dhaka. The location has not changed as yet and hence whenever I drive in this area, it reminds me about those good old days.

The embassy should seriously think to take the minimum care of the visa seeking people who wait in a queue outside of the building. No fans, no shades, no washroom facility and above all people do not know whether he or she will get his turn for an interview on that very day. Please contact Japan embassy and learn the hospitality you need to provide to your guests. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Please introduce a ticket system for visa seeking people who wait under Sun in the pedestrian outside of your office without any clue whether he or she can make it that day. You have a seating capacity of at least for 8 people inside, and you can keep them waiting in that room for an interview instead of leaving them in a queue outside. In this way, a cycle of 2 or 3 rounds of people can be made depending on your capacity of interviewing. The interviewer, I met was a friendly guy with whom I had find memories.
