That fast you'll receive your renewed e-passport if you apply for super express delivery. This is kind of record breaking speed for any Governmental work to complete in Bangladesh.

It was inefficient with long lines of waiting to submit an application for expired mrp passport. Had to go through the whole diometric scans all over again for the epassport. There are no clear indicator to guide people on where they should go and lone up. The whole place can be so easily improved to make the entire epassport process simpler and more efficiy

Everything has improved drastically. The e-passport website is absolutely world class. You can schedule/reschedule/cancel your appointments at will. They provide updates after you have completed your visit to the passport office and tell you when your passport is ready for pickup. Mine was scheduled for 3rd Jan but I received it on 29th Dec, almost a week early. Also, during my appointment day, the whole process- of standing in line, providing documents, getting your fingerprints and photograph taken- was stream lined and took me about two hours. People were maintaining social distancing protocols, although it could have been enforced more strictly. At the beginning, there was one person who was breathing down my neck and he lashed out at me when I requested him to stand a few feet apart (3 feet is required). Overall, I am pretty satisfied with my whole experience and the option of having an e-passport valid for 10 years with 64 pages is an absolute bonus. Tips- 1) Men should wear dark shirts or suits because the photo background is white 2) Same dress color for women plus no traditional bindiyas/tips and make sure your ears can be seen 3) Even if you've made an appointment in the afternoon, you can come a lot earlier and stand in line. It's mostly first come first served.

Great experience at agargaon passport office. Within 15 days I have got my e passport in regular process. I think everyone should get passport by agargaon passport office. Because It's really hassle less.
