Service is very poor,totally mismanagement and chaos.controlled by CNF agents and customs lower level officials.So many problems like pilferage and short receipt will go. Incidence of pilferage and short notice has become so frequent that these have not only become an unbearable financial burden on them but also creating a bad image for the country abroad.At present cargo agents palletise the goods. Then the pallets are taken to the built-up area, which generally stays there overnight. It is from here that things go missing. Consignees often complain of missing items and sometimes of even empty boxes.The sudden and unexpected decision by the government to shelve the plan to install cargo management system and other modern equipment has certainly killed a great project.Bangladesh has not got a Cargo Village as expected earlier. It has got only a Cargo Go-down.
