Bangladesh shishu Academy is a autonomous organization under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, whose purpose is to help the development of physical, emotional, cultural and anticipated talent of the children's children. In 1976, the Bangladesh Child Academy was established in an ordinance of the President. Currently there are 70 branches of the academy across the country. The headquarters of the old High Court area of Dhaka are located.

Bangladesh Shishu Academy is one of the best cultural organizations for children .It provides a good facility and helps students to enrich their knowledges , talents and abilities. It holds many cultural events to increase interests and capabilities of students. It is spacious and the environment is natural and beautiful. There is a museum representing our culture and a library having a great amount of books of varieties .There is also a museum named after Sheikh Russel where memories of Sheikh Russel ( Younger son of The father of the Nation ) is showed which represents the children, the future of the nation. It's indeed a place of socialization and guidance for the students.

Bangladesh Shishu Academy is a nice place, Where kids are learning various cultural activities, such as dance, sing, guitar, tabla, spoken etc. A kids library is in here. An auditorium is in here. National cultural competition of children held there. Car parking is available here. A canteen is also there. Everyday too many children visit here. Some national program arrange here.

Fantastic place for young kids to learn various cultural activities. There are many interactive cultural programs held where the students perform. Art, dance and music - all are taught here. It also has a large auditorium where the cultural programmes are held. The library here has a large collection of books and a really nice environment which actually encourages kinds to pick out a book and read. All together, fantastic place for kids to enjoy life.
